Livery at Raygill

Raygill has triumphed in many prestigious championships over the years and are proud to have the privilege to be able to pass their breeding, training and knowledge of the care of horses to others. The conditions and environment at Raygill are ideal for first-class livery giving customers full confidence that their horses and ponies are expertly cared for in ideal surroundings.

The grazing is superb with the fields grazed in rotation and ploughed from time to time to keep the grass sweet. Mares and geldings are kept separate and fences are regularly maintained. Hay and Haylage are home grown and our farming skills ensure it's of the highest standards. Straw and shavings are used for bedding. Shavings are a little extra but Raygill has a good reliable supply of dust free shavings at reasonable cost.

Raygill are fortunate to use Castle Vets. To be more cost effective where possible vaccinations are arranged in "batches" so the cost is shared amongst customers. The Farrier visits weekly and is very responsive if there is an emergency, i.e. replacing a shoe when there is an important competition, or treating horses when lame.

Livery customers are able to benefit from cheaper lessons, clinics & competitions. Many of the Raygill children have excelled in Pony Club competitions due to our excellent tuition. Adults have also been successful in Riding Club events.
